Two Week Pledge
My novel writing group, the Pendulum, ran short of work to critique at this particular moment. We critique our whole works, not partials. This way, we can see the entire forest, not just the trees as we pass them by. We haven’t let that slow us down though. In lieu of critiquing for a couple of weeks, we are challenging ourselves to make pledges and stick to it.
So here’s my pledge. It’s pretty simple really.
- To write as much of Shadowkind as I possibly can. Ideally, I would like to see a thousand words a day. More even.
- If I finish Shadowkind, it’s short story time. I seriously doubt I’l finish in two weeks though unless the muses strike me with power drinks.
Wish me luck. I guess I should get to writing instead of blogging.
